The event forms part of the CTC West Yorkshire DA Events
Programme and is registered with the District Associations Tourist
Competition, and Brevet de Randonneurs.
There
is an entry fee of £4.50 for members of Audax UK, CTC, or BCF. In order
to obtain public liability cover, people who are not members of these
organizations need to take out temporary membership of Audax UK. Full
details are on the
entry
form.
The route covers approximately 202 km, taking you from the heart of West Yorkshire into Lancashire, the Red Rose County, via the Trough of Bowland to the coast at Glasson Dock . The return is through Garstang, Inglewhite, and Longridge There is a minimum average speed required of 15 kph and a maximum of 30 kph.
