Discounted Travel to PBP

Quite a few people have now got into the swing of doing their qualifying
rides for PBP and a large proportion of these will now be confirmed in their
intention of riding the big event.

The second PBP Group, formed to take advantage of the discounts offered by
Graham Baxter Sporting Tours, is still taking bookings and will continue to
do so for a short period until it is necessary to submit the full group
booking around end March/early April.

A number of people have contacted me already intimating their interest in
joining the group, others have made a firm commitment by sending a deposit
cheque.

There may be others out there who would like to join the group. Please feel
free to contact me if you would like more details. You can email me at chris.crossland@mcmail.com, or telephone 01422 832853 or 07747 788980, or write to 14 Stanley Street West, Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire HX6 1EF.

I would appreciate if interested people (who have not already done so) would
now consider making a firm commitment probably best expressed as a deposit
cheque made out to Graham Baxter Sporting Tours Ltd. (then I don't handle
any money myself) and sent to me with 3 stamped addressed envelopes (so as I
can send you back any documentation without blowing my own discount on group expenses).

The deposit required is 30% of the brochure price of £449, i.e. £134.70 and
we can then deduct the discount applicable from the final payment which is
due 6 weeks before date of travel. If you want their insurance that is £41,
to accompany the deposit, otherwise you need to provide written proof of
insurance. There is also a reduced price cycling kit offer at £40 if you
want it.

It would be worth checking out the details on their web site at
http://www.sportingtours.co.uk

I hope that this explains how the group booking works. If anyone has any
queries, please get in touch.

Regards

Chris Crossland
