The 400 includes the
climbs of Barbondale, Hartside, Yad Moss, Kidstones, and Cock Hill Moor
(among others) and is not for the faint-hearted. The 600 visits the East
and West coasts before returning to Mytholmroyd via the Rochdale coast! We feel that this series
of rides would probably not suit Southerners, in view of its arduous
nature, although if any enter, they can be assured of a warm, friendly
Northern welcome. The bottom line is: If you qualify for Paris-Brest-Paris
by riding the West Yorkshire Super Randonneur series, then PBP itself
should be well within your capabilities. |
